• Self-actualization...

  ...I obviously am never gonna get it here.

  I'm a senior level professional and *this* is what my professional life amounts to!??!  So glad I’ve achieved such relevance.  I came into work this morning to be greeted with this email.

  “I’ve copied **insert cokeaddict’s real name here** as she is going to try to make the presentation more visually interesting”.

  Let’s get one thing straight. I  don’t work for you.  You don’t get to *instruct* me to do anything.  And I’m so glad you make your instructions so vague.

  “I have not made any changes to your slides, as I found your high ratio of letters to whitespace to be immensely interesting. You have succeeded in a way that I could never dream of realizing.”

  I didn’t send that.  Don’t panic.  I really wanted to.  But in my old age, I know better.
