  • That’s a lot of friggin’ drama

So, it’s not news that I adopted a rescue dog almost a month ago. Within days of me bringing this dog home, I had to take her to the vet for eye surgery to correct an entropion in both eyes, and heal a hole in her right cornea. That’s not news either.

I briefly mentioned the irresponsibility of the foster providing “care” (or lack thereof) for my dog (full story). So that’s not news either.

However, the news is that the foster isn’t cooperating with the humane association in handling the money issues and she’s telling me things that are in direct contradiction to what others at the humane association have told me. I don’t know who is lying and who is telling the truth, but when it comes right down to it, I don’t care. I just want all the animals to get the best possible care.

So when someone logs into the humane association’s email, forwards me messages between the humane association president and other prospective adopters, I get a bit annoyed. First, the information is none of my business. Second, what goes on between the association and other prospective adopters is irrelevant to agreements/arrangements with me. I don’t *know* that it’s the foster doing things, but there really isn’t any other potential suspect.

Anyways, I informed the president of the association, who, upon hearing the situation, discovered that she was locked out of her email account. Fancy that. She said she’d get to the bottom of things and call me back. She called back and said she’d touched base with the necessary people and that the money issue will be dealt with today. As for the emails, she said she’d call me once she was able to get back in there. For all I know, she could be lying to me too, but with nothing to go on, I can only hope that there isn’t some sort of scam being run on me… yet again. Gawd… I’m such a sucker. I really should work on fixing that. *shakes head*

Honestly, someone down there must have too much time on their hands to be going out of their way to stir up so much drama.
